Growing up in between Jamaica and London, British actress Jazzy De Lisser has always been interested in the power of storytelling. Jazzy honed her acting craft at New York's prestigious William Esper Studio. She landed her breakthrough role as the lead in the critically acclaimed coming-of-age thriller To.Get.Her, directed by Erica Dunton. Since then, she has appeared in HBO’s smash hit series Game of Thrones and starred in a number of indie titles, including Jordan Ross’s gritty drama Thumper, opposite Lena Heady and Pablo Schreiber. Most recently, Jazzy appears in Greta Bellamacina’s upcoming Hurt by Paradise, an intimate portrait of female friendship, as well as Rel Schulman and Henry Joost ‘s hotly anticipated, yet hitherto unnamed, Netflix feature film, opposite Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gorden Levit which will be out this summer. When she was 18 she made a short film documenting the struggles of living with Hepatitis C, followed by an award-winning animation on the function of the human liver, as part of her ongoing work for the charity Liver Good Life, which she founded to raise awareness of and fund research into Hepatitis C. Jazzy lives in between Los Angeles and north London with her dog Banana.
