Scottish born Lucy Chappell grew up in England, Texas and Bejing. She began her career in youth theatre becoming a member of the National Youth Theatre in 2013 ; previous alumni include Daniel Craig, Rosamund Pike and Daniel Day Lewis.

She recently graduated from University College London with a BSc in Anthropology, and was a member of their student Drama Society, performing in ‘The Trojan Women’, ‘The Lieutenant of Inishmore’ and several radio plays.

Her screen credits include ‘The Theory of Everything’ where she acted alongside Eddie Redmayne as Mary Hawking, and a role in independent feature film ‘Thea’. Most recently Lucy appeared as Edna in the BBC’s drama ‘An Inspector Calls’ starring alongside David Thewlis and Miranda Richardson. Her next role is in Joe Lynch’s indie action thriller ‘Mayhem’.
